Several residents have expressed an interest in bringing back a lost Haversham tradition.\u00c2\u00a0 Once upon a time, during the Holiday Season, several homes in Haversham would get together to host a roaming party of sorts. At one home, everyone would meet for before-dinner-drinks and socializing, then everyone would move on to another home for appetizers,\u00c2\u00a0then off again for dinner, another house for dessert and finally a last house for after-dinner-drinks and more fun.\u00c2\u00a0 \u00c2\u00a0There has been a big interest in bringing back this old tradition, so long as we remember to keep it family oriented.\u00c2\u00a0 To do so, we need some volunteers.\u00c2\u00a0 Who would like to host a part of the party?\u00c2\u00a0 We want to keep it simple and may even want the actual dinner in the party house.\u00c2\u00a0 It’s a bit intimidating and cumbersome\u00c2\u00a0to cook a whole meal for that many people.\u00c2\u00a0 This way, several households can join together for the dinner stage.\u00c2\u00a0<\/p>\n
I think it’s a\u00c2\u00a0great opportunity to bring our special community closer together and spend some time with all the new Haversham families.\u00c2\u00a0 We need suggestions for a date, volunteers to help organize and people who do not mind opening up their homes.\u00c2\u00a0<\/p>\n
