Need help at pool

October 18, 2007 by Editor Leave a Comment

Neighbors:

HELP: We need a few willing hands to help re-tarp the pools this Saturday (Oct. 20) at noon.

Our little wind storm this week managed to remove enough of the tarps from the pools that the tarps and some of the little water-filled tubes are in the pool. There’s a fair amount of leaves in the pool too.

Good news is that those corners of the tarp that were weighted down by 5-gallon paint/chemical buckets filled with water held things down.

REQUEST BUCKETS

Anyone that has empty 5-gallon buckets is requested to donate them to the cause. We could use at least a half dozen more of these.

Best,
rlr

Pool update

May 25, 2007 by Editor Leave a Comment

Neighbors:

The pool is not yet open — but it’s not for lack of trying. Joe has been on Aquatrol’s case for the last month, and he issued an ultimatum. If the pool is not usable this weekend, we will be looking for another company to maintain it.

Happy Memorial Day!

Secretary

Sprinklers up

May 3, 2007 by Andrew Pool Leave a Comment

Just FYI….. the sprinkler system in the easement is once again 100% up and running.  The sand you see is to fill in ruts, holes, etc.

No worry the grass will grow through the sand.  Please look in your immediate  easement area and do any pruning of trees limbsthat are hanging way down to the ground or vines that hinder the mower when he comes through…. some of the trees really need to be trimmed.    Thanks so much.

Delayed trash update

April 3, 2007 by Andrew Pool 1 Comment

Hello Everyone,

Just an update on dumpster situation. As many of you know the two dumpsters that we have at the party house have not been dumped in a while……I found out the reason why was because of all the recent rains, the city dump has been closed. But they are open now and our dumpster has been dumped. I have arranged for two day a week pick up.

Those days are Mondays and Friday’s beginning soon as the trash service dept is overloaded/stresssed at the moment. However, please remember the dump is for grass clippings, limbs, party and pool trash and if need be an occassional normal household trash dump… but our normal household trash is picked up twice a week at our curb by Edward Cruz. We pay him $240 per month for this bi-weekly service. So as a courtesy to Edward take your big limbs, anything that you CAN’T get into a trash bag out to the dumpster and leave the bagged trash for Edward to pick up.

You should be hearing from Joe Elmore soon to announce date and time for our annual Haversham meeting. Should be coming up soon. Look forward to seeing all of you then.

Kay Ward,
Treasurer

Dumpster for yard clippings

March 28, 2007 by Andrew Pool Leave a Comment

Neighbors, please know that the dumpster at the party house is to be used for grass clippings, etc.  Not for your daily trash that is picked up on Tuesday’s and Friday’s.  Please bag trash, don’t leave out at night to keep away from Cats, trash in yards, etc.  You know the drill.  Thanks

Kay
