New Haversham residents Glen and Inetta Reddell called for a Hawaiian theme, and Haversham neighbors gathered at the pool and party house May 31 found themselves on an island complete with birds, balloons, and a buffet of treats ranging from tropical to Texas. The occasion was the first association party of the 2014 season, and the “Grand Opening” of the Haversham pool.
Residents were joined at the event by their own family members and a few close friends. Joe kept the smoker going all day so that those who cared to could partake of ribs, brisket, and anything else that might be seared over a fire. Association members brought salads, sides, and desserts. Glen and Inetta came dressed in faux grass skirts as a final touch to all the decorations that helped foster the island theme.
